- Hi All,
-
- Looks like I goofed.. I had a few of the machines here apart the other
- day.. testing PhonePak/hardware configs again.. well as a totally un-
- related side effect, I somehow got the floppy cables mixed up on one
- of the 3000T-040s.. When all the dust cleared, what I ended up with was
-
- the MB jumper for (No-DF1/DF1) on DF1.. DF0: on the end of the cable (the
- connector with a few wires twisted), and DF1 on the connector closest to
- the MB.. (no twisted wires).. DF0: has jumper on lower right (facing back
- of drive) two pins, DF1: has jumper on lower left two pins.. Both drives
- are the Chinon 357A high density type.. and seem to work fine.. as long
- as I only use one at a time.. If I try a disk copy, or formatting on both
- drives, then the system trashes the disks, or sometimes even locks up..
-
- Any Ideas what I got wrong???
-
-
- Thanks for any help, Christian.
